[tl - lab] is a process based art and architecture laboratory, founded in 2009 by danish born architect and visual artist Tina Louise Hunderup.
Through tLab Tina Louise works with individual artproject and commisions, within the fields of interior design, sitespecific art installation, and exhibition. With workexperience from New York and Amsterdam, she holds an international reference in her work, and a high level of engagement.
The essential quality of the work lies is the fusion of the artistic element and the functional architectural quality. The work deals with ways of integrating art in architecture, and in that way, to create new satisfactory design accommodations. In the design there is an overall focus on the user and the spacial stimulation through colors, form and lightning.
Each spacial design is characterized by a strong identity and an openess in form and function, which allows the users individual touch to participate in the overall identity. All work is characterized by a deep and honest quality, both represented in the strong relation to the specific context, as well as in the choice of material and texture.
An art installation or an interior design is carried out in allready existing architecture or integrated in the designfase of a new building, in cooperation with the client or the primary architect.
